Clay, Texture and Decay

As part of an ongoing research project into the visual expressiveness of clay I built a series of large scale models and documented them as they air dried. There was a natural and quality to the resulting forms. The most interesting aspect of this project was the realisation of how much agency is embed within materials used for shape making and how this effects the evolution of a piece.
