Wax, Light and Texture

I wanted to examine the potential for expression and interaction that could be accessed through the combination of mundane objects.

This project combined clay, carboard, bark, wax, plastic, wire, string and paper into assemblages that more than anything tried to emphases tactile qualities which could unlock potential narratives for the viewer.

The subjectivity of the engagement was central in this project and so lighting and display became as much parts of the finished work as any of the mater that composed them.
